Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
My dance style is very Latin Urban. My inspiration comes from different iconic artists and their rhythms such as Selena Quintanilla, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Aventura and Romeo Santos.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact my life positively by providing visibility to platforms and audiences that I can inspire. I think that both me and the opposite end would be greatly impacted because dance is art and both can grasp inspiration from that.
In my dance community and or scene, lessons, costumes, dance shoes, props, etc can get expensive and in my home town most parents don’t have the luxury to spend and pay for all the costs. Therefore, what I have been doing for various seasons is creat fundraisers and develope ways to raise money to cover for some of the cost for lower income families who want to continue to dance. The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
