Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I have a wide understanding of many styles, from hip hop to jazz to contemporary to ballet. I get inspiration from many dancers stemming from my friends who are already up and on their feet achieve great opportunities in the dance world like dancing on broadway or films. As well as inspiration from big dancers that dance in styles i'm interested in like Will West, Kirsten Dodgen, or Hannah Alissa Richardson who is a Toronto dancer who now dances for the company at my dream school Alvin Ailey
Dance is my life and my purpose, i go to school for dance and I hope for it to be my career. If i get the opportunity to be in Ciara's music video it would impact my life greatly as being in a music video has been my dream ever since I realized it was a possibility as a dancer. This opportunity would jumpstart my life and would possibly open doors to even more opportunities
First of all this experience would also make my mom and dad so happy no words could describe how she would feel. My parents are my biggest supporter and besides having a successful career in dance, the number one thing i want in life is to make them happy and help them to have less stress in their lives. So with this money I would put some aside to help my parents out in some way. The rest of the money I would save and use it in ways to push me as a dancer and a way for more dance opportunities
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
