Truly one of my inspirations is Ciara. I love the way she carries herself in the music industry with so much swagger while still having a feminine touch. When I dance this comes into play because I like to have a mix of sensual and playful energy. I would describe my dance style as fluid and full out. It is very natural for me to tap into my feminine side while dancing but I still like to channel my more masculine and hard hitting side when doing choreography that calls for that energy.
Being in Ciara's music video would impact my life tremendously because I would be accomplishing what has been a goal since I was a child. I have been listening to Ciara since my whole life and I remember seeing my first Ciara music video which was "Never Ever" feat. Jeezy. When I need a boost watching her music videos always reminds me of why I started imagining myself in a music video and in the dance industry. If I won the $20,000 I would invest it into my dance career and also give back to my parents. Since I am graduating from the dance program I am in, this money would help provide financial security for my future in the dance world. Vocal lessons and dance classes both require a lot of money and this opportunity would help with supporting it. I would also like to give money to my parents as a thank you for all they have invested in my dance goals and travel to get me the best opportunities.
