I embody hip hop ! Hip hop is my 1st language. My dancing is very energetic , fun & performative. It’s how I express myself & my emotions, by making facial expressions, going full out & leaving it all on the floor! I love branching out into dance styles such as majorette, afrobeat, dancehall etc for more versatility to implement into the style I initially fell in love with. My biggest inspiration for dance is Chris Brown, his moves + Cici’s looks & swag = Me !
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a dream come true for me, I’d finally be taking the steps towards fulfilling the career that I want & have always dreamed of. I’ve always adored watching videos of performers & choreographers such as Chris Brown, Matt Stefanina, Parris Goebel, Ciara, Aliya Janell etc & because of them I was able to teach myself how to dance. This would fill the heart of a 4 yr old with a dream to make a difference in the dance industry.
If I were to win the $20,000 I would use it to invest in my career even more. I’ll be able to fully pay for college & further my education as a first gen student ! I dance to create a legacy & generational wealth for my family ! and as a current dance teacher, I aspire to have my own dance studio. Dance is a joy that everyone should have the luxury of experiencing in any community. I’ll also travel to take classes to evolve as a person & the dancer I know I can be.
