The dance style I practice the most is hip hop, although I do also like to practice wh/aacking, house, and krump. I also have a background in classical styles, having done ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap growing up. People who work hard, take risks, and make their ambitions happen through pure dedication inspire me, and that is the kind of artist I want to become. As an artist, I believe it is important to be open minded and learn the many possibilities and directions your art can go.
Being in Ciara’s music video would give me the opportunity to pursue the life I only ever dreamed of. I am a student studying to work a corporate job because it is the most stable and “realistic” thing I can do, although I work on my artist’s resume on the side. I come from a culture where academics and financial stability is extremely valued, and pursuing art is shunned, even if it is what I’ve always wanted. With the $20,000, I would invest it into pursuing art. I would pay for classes and training opportunities to become the best version of myself. On top of training, I would invest in building myself a social media presence. I would also use the money to make gifts for everyone who ever supported and believed in me, including my dance team, my family, and friends. With the remaining money, I would put it into savings, but after I treat myself to a nice steak dinner hahaha
