Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My dance style centers around confidence. I believe as dancers we should love ourselves and what we do so much it amplify us from dancers to performers. Through developing this pedagogy along with a strong foundation in Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater and Ballet I have been able to cultivate my own unique personal style. I am greatly inspired by performers such as Ciara, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brow who have set the standard to a level I aim to reach.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

More than anything this would inspire me to continue fighting for myself as Ciara and many other strong women have before to share their talent. This would amplify my message to my community that art is important. And most importantly as a teacher, this would allow me to show my students a real life example that hard work and passion do matter.

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would invest into myself, my family and my community. With this blessing I would invest in my education as well as organize with other teachers to create an event to celebrate with my community. This would include organizing free dance classes, free tutoring, free meals for students and sharing supplies for school. Everyone deserves a chance to feel confident and with the right resources and support I know I can help make that happen.
