Dance has been a part of my life since age 2, starting with jazz and tap, and later exploring acro, ballet, musical theatre, and Latin dance. Over time, hip hop became my primary focus. Each style has influenced my movement and expression in unique ways. My coaches have been pivotal in my growth, challenging me to refine my technique and push my creative boundaries. This journey led to the honour of joining Team Canada Hip Hop last October.
Growing up listening to Ciara’s music shaped my love for rhythm, dance, and confidence. Being in one of her music videos would be a dream come true, turning years of admiration into a real experience. It would open doors for new opportunities, boost my personal growth, and create unforgettable memories. This opportunity would not only celebrate her influence on my life but also inspire my own journey in entertainment and self-expression.
I would use the $20,000 to invest in my post-secondary education, helping me pursue my passions and future goals. As someone who is very family-oriented, this year is special as my parents celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. They’ve sacrificed so much to support my dance journey, and I’d love to repay them with a meaningful gift to show my gratitude. It would also mean a lot to do something special for my family, who’s always been my biggest support.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
