I am a beginner dancer. I have been in a total of 2 dances my whole life and they were both hip hop based dances. l am new to this community and will do anything I can to be an upcoming star. I take all of my inspiration from theatre icons that have come before me such as Pearl Primus.
I am an inspiring theatre student with a passion to teach and help those with special needs. This opportunity would get my foot out the door, and would give me the experience and push I need to make my dreams come true. I want to be on a big stage. I want to be on Broadway. I want to inspire little girls to be themselves, no matter their race, sexuality, religious background. Being in this music video would truly change my entire life.
If I were to win the $20,000, it would go towards my education and future living. I am from New Orleans, Louisiana and dream of going to Louisiana State University. This money would help with my tuition and help me reach the dream I’ve had since I was four years old.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
