Dance has been a big part of my life ever since I was a kid! I always knew that I wanted to be a dancer, especially after watching and trying to copy Michael Jackson AND Ciara’s dance moves all throughout my childhood. Even though I had no idea what I was doing, I worked up from the age of 2 working and teaching myself how to tell art through my body. Through all those years, I was able to make dance a hobby, job, and lifestyle.
Being in Ciara’s music video would help me elevate in a variety of ways. From learning and working with such an incredible dancer herself to being able to truly make dance my profession! And to be able to inspire other black girls like me, and show them that they truly can pursue their dreams!
With the $20,000, I would use a good amount to help out my family and give back to my parents. Throughout my life they have been my biggest supporters with following my dreams, and giving this money to them would truly be life changing for my family. On top of that, I would finally be able to begin my dream of opening a dance studio. A place where no matter who you are or what you look like, you are accepted and welcomed with open arms to come and dance!!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
