Growing up Ciara always been my inspiration. I remember when she released her evolution DVD my aunt went to Walmart and bought it for me and I would rush home to throw on my muscle T-shirt, baggy sweatpants and high top air forces and I would dance all day long until it was time to go to bed. I am a Bay Area girl so being hyphy is my style .with a natural mug that draws people in and hard cord moves. You can feel the passion with every step ,hip-hop & praise dance is love to me.
Being in Ciara video would impact my life tremendously not because I didn’t think it wasn’t possible but because where I come from people don’t get these kind of opportunities. so with this opportunity, I would show my community that if I can do it, you can too. Society says that because of the color of my skin that I have no chances at this opportunity, but I’m going to make a change and make my hometown proud.
First, I would pour back into my church because without their loving support none of this would be possible and I wouldn’t be the strong minded young lady that I am today. secondly I will open up a foundation for the generation under me by creating a dance studio, where kids can come and express themselves through dance, and I would start a organization for kids who don’t have the resources to building a future of their own. rather if that’s dance,music and more.
