Fusion is my go-to dance style for both teaching & performing. I blend different cultural styles of genres together creating a unique experience of movement. I typically fuse Jazz and Hip Hop with hints of contemporary and strong athletic/ acro like movement depending the message/ song being perceived. Both Missy Elliott and Ciara have been inspirations for me growing up through all forms of music, creativity, and dance. It’s been even more inspiring witnessing both continue their path
Not only would it have a significant impact on my life but it could open up numerous opportunities in the entertainment industry. It would expose me to a wider audience potentially leading to more work in music videos and commercials, or even acting roles. Additionally, it would be an incredible experience to work with a renowned artist such as Ciara, allowing me to learn from her professionalism & creativity. It would also boost my confidence & build valuable connections within the indu
With the $20,000 I would pursue my Masters degree in Dance to be able to work part time or full time at a college. I would also like to potentially create a program within a school system for kids who are unable to attend a dance studio giving them the opportunity to dance and express themselves artistically. Some of the money would be set aside to help me purchase my own home some day.
