Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

Out of 24 years of life, I have been dancing for 22. I trained in every style there was to offer, but favored Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, and Modern. Combining those 3 has helped create my own movement style that emphasizes feeling music through lyrics, backbeats, bass, or any instrumental accent. An inspiration for how I move comes from the “Aesthetic of the Cool”. The term is from African Diaspora Dance and means one can encompass balance, poise, and restraint while maintaining a captivati

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

After graduating college in 2023 with a BFA in Dance: Performance & Choreography, I decided to return home to start teaching the next generation of dancers. As much as I love being an educator, my heart is and always will be with performing. Having a chance to get out there and show who I am through someone as impactful as Ciara is in the Industry, would be more than enough to let my students know there is more to life than their hometown. That you can do big things in your life.

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would spread the $20,000 between investing in my future goal of owning a dance studio and donations to help provide funding to my State and Communities Arts Departments, renovations and remodeling funds to my current employer Studio 9 Dance Academy, and to various organizations like “Dancers for Cancer” and “Donate Life: America” in honor of my family members, more recently my Late Uncle Anthony.
