My dance style mainly consists of Hip Hop, Jazz, Majorette, and Modern/Contemporary, beginning at age 11. Ciara has been one of my main inspirations in the dance industry. Her style of dance and the way she moves has inspired me since childhood. Another inspiration of mine is children. A big part of dance for me for building confidence and self esteem. Children are our future, and being able to bring a creative light and energy to help their development inspires me to keep dancing / teaching.
Being a part of Ciara’s music video would impact my life in many ways. It would introduce me to a different world, and allow me to better connect with people in the same industry as me. It would also be a step in my growth as a professional dancer. It would also impact my life because it has always been a goal of mine, and to be able to say I can constantly achieve my dreams makes me proud, as well as those who have supported me throughout my career.
If I won $20,000, I would invest in myself and my aspirations and purchase space for my dance studio. This studio has been a goal of mine since I was a little girl. It is my way of giving back to my community and continue helping the people around me feel secure, confident, and safe.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
