Dance has helped me to be comfortable in my skin, it has built my personality into who I am today, overcoming the introverted kid I was, which stopped me from stepping up for things I believed in and wanted to do for so many years. I like showing this new confidence in my dance style, combining sassy, sharp, and heavy movements, a lot of shapes and lines mixed with the fluidity of the curves my body can make, and exploring both delicacy and roughness in my movement.
How it wouldn't impact my life is the real question! Besides the obvious ―making one of my dreams come true to dance in a music video and opening a lot of doors for my dance career― it would also make little me very very happy. I have a really cute memory of my friend and I dancing to Level Up in hip-hop class, surrounded by all our cheering friends. To now be dancing next to the queen herself, CIARA!!!, would be unbelievable, one of the best experiences, simply magical, and so enjoyable.
I would save most of it to help my family pay my college tuition and living expenses as an international student in the US. But I would also love to donate a fraction of the money to support scholarships for Latin Americans looking to study in the US to work toward their dreams in a place with more opportunities. It would make me really happy and peaceful to know that the achievements from the efforts of my passion, not only "paid off" to me, but that I can also help and inspire others
