My dance style is a mix of Hip Hop and Contemporary. I like to play with textures fast into slow, levels of sharpness, and taking time within my movement/space. I like to also make my breath part of the movement, allowing the audience to see that I'm breathing but making it part of the routine. I think it can be fun to dance to slower songs but have fast movement and vice versa. Artists/groups like GVR, Danielle Moulton, and Alyson Stoner I look for inspo because of their strong stage presence
Dance is my passion, a lifestyle. Dancing is my dream whether it's teaching wherever I can/will let me, dancing on stage with different artists, or being a part of a touring company, but what I do know is that if I'm dancing until I physically can't I've done something wrong. Being in a Ciara music video would get me closer to my goal my dream. I grew up and continue to watch Ciara's videos, she's an icon and it would honor to even be in her presence let alone dance with her
If I were to win the $20,000 I would put it into my college savings, I'm currently in my 2nd year, and being out of state can get a little pricy sometimes but I'm studying something that I love and would like to continue doing so. That money would provide me with some more security. it would help with rent, books, and even taking more dance classes to better my skills for the future I'm working my way to. It truly would help me most significantly.
