My dance inspiration comes from taking classes with amazing teachers and choreographers that share their passion for dance. I’m inspired by my peers who motivate me to be my best self and are always my biggest supporters. My mom is also a huge inspiration to me because she is my dance teacher and has given me so many opportunities with her connections in the dance industry. I also find inspiration in those who use dance as their way to express and tell stories.
Dancing for Ciara would change my life by giving me an opportunity to perform with one of the biggest stars in the world and someone who I look up to. It would give me a chance to work with professionals in the industry, which is exactly what my goal and dream is.
When I think of winning $20,000 the first thing that comes to mind is the Smile Train Foundation. I was born with a cleft lip and have had so many people support me through my journey. Children in other countries don’t have the accessibility to specialized doctors or the funds to have surgery. I would love to donate at least half of the money to help other children feel confident in their smile like me. I would also help with house repairs because in 2022 my child home was arsoned.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
