My dance style is all-embracing. Dance has been my safe space since I was 8. I have experience in many dance styles, but my favorite is the sexy hip-hop style. Growing up, I taught myself dances from YouTube choreographed by Aliya Janell, Jojo Gomez, Yanis Marshall, Nicole Kirkland, Marissa Heart, and many others. I have also grown up thinking, feeling, and envisioning myself as a Pussycat Doll. My style entails a bit of sexy, sassy, hip hop, and expression that I bond into the "Kenzie"
My dream has always been to be in a music video as a dancer, or go on tour as a backup dancer for an artist like Ciara. It would make me so proud of myself as I work so hard every day by practicing, and being a performance artist at Music Festivals, it would open many doors that my peers have always pushed me to pursue. It would help me get noticed for opportunities on the BIG stages, and it would help my self-confidence in amazing ways that I need and is what I deserve.
I have felt like I have been behind on life. $20,000.00 would bring me so much peace as I would finally be able to live a stabilized life I have worked so hard in, to feel free and comfortable. It would also give me the ability to give back to my dearly beloved and supportive community that supports me through my dance journey. I wouldn’t be here without my community, and I would love to give back in a way I have always wished I could.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
