I love improving to music! I enjoy feeling the beats and rhythms with my heart and spirit to make stellar dance combinations. I find my dance is contemporary by definition: of many forms and ever-changing. As I grow, I learn new techniques and dance movement theories.I am proud of my dance style and am happy to keep exploring and building my dance vocabulary. At this time I've been studying jazz lines and golden-era musical theater combos. But my favorite is Ballet with a Spanish flare!
It would be my childhood dream come true. I remember watching Ciara's music videos and pretending I was one of the background dancers, so being able to participate in this is truly an honor and blessing. Even if I'm not chosen, being in the running is exciting and is inspiring me trian even harder on my dancing. I can't imagine my life without dance and being in this video will show my friends and family what I'm capable of and why I am so passionate about this decipline.
I would invest the money in my dance degree. I have an accosciates degree but don't have my bachelor's degree . I would also restock my dance shoes. New pointe, tap, ballet flats, and jazz sneakers. I would also donate a portion to my college's dance scholarship in honor of my Grandmother who passed away in October. I know I would make the most with the 20k but I'd still compete even if there was no cash prize. This is a once in a life time opertunity and I'm happy representing my dance heritage
