My dance style is super diverse! I like to keep it traditional and timeless with a hip hop cultured freestyle dance, infused with the movements of contemporary , Afro House, Dancehall & Jazz. My inspiration is being able to speak to people without saying a word. Being able to use my body language to communicate through music while captivating my audience. Thanks to the legends that gave me the motivation to start my dance career such as, The Jacksons, & of course C.I.A.R.A!
The impact of being selected for Ciara’s music video would be mystical! Something words couldn’t explain, as a dancer we all dream of dancing with those artist that inspired us as a child, and this would be that moment ! I would not only make those in the dance community proud but my students, my family, & myself ! Being in a Ciara’s music video would help me to inspire the world and let them know if I could do it, THEY CAN TOO !
What I KIMBERLY would do with the 20,000 is invest in my dream career as a professional Dance choreographer & Creative director, winning this competition would help me to open my own dance studio that offers dance classes for all people that LOVES DANCING!
