I am inspired by Michael Jackson, Yanis Marshall, Jerome Robbins, Bruno Mars, Bobby Brown, Missy Elliott, Paula Abdul, Bob Fosse and everything to do with the music of Salsa and Hip Hop! My appreciation for Black and Brown choreographers and dancers who laid the path for dancers like myself to experience the liberation and power of movement extends far into what inspires me to choreograph in a way that pays homage. I love to engage with the audience and allow the music to dictate how I dance.
Way back in middle school, I saw Goodies, 1,2 Step, Lose Control as I got older it was watching Ride, Promise, Level Up and now How We Roll. I’ve grown up being completely enamored by her dancing and style. Being in Ciara’s next music video would allow me to share in her creative process and sense of family togetherness dancing alongisde her dancers. I have worked hard on my craft as a choreographer and this would the children and seniors I teach that if I can make my dream come tru
My goal is to reach New York by June 2025 and open up a dance studio/club called the Time Machine. Each room would have dance classes to learn dances from each decade. At night it would be a club for everyone to celebrate and be free! I would invest in a space to create for all to enjoy dance and learn the dance history that has inspired me to carry on the legacy of many of the greats!
