I’m a majorette and hip-hop dancer, and I’ve been dancing since I was three years old. I fell in love with dance by watching 90s and early 2000s artists perform, their moves perfectly synchronized with their music. Those performances inspired me, and they’ve shaped my style, blending the sharp, powerful movements of majorette dancing with the expressive, energetic flow of hip-hop. Dance has always been a way for me to connect with the music and express myself.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a dream come true for me and would genuinely feel like I’ve made it as a dancer. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been inspired by artists from the 90s and early 2000s, and Ciara has always been one of my biggest inspirations. Her unique blend of hip-hop and R&B, combined with her incredible dance moves, has been a major influence on my own dance style. If I had $20,000, I would use it to open my own majorette/hip-hop dance studio in my community. Dance has been an integral part of my life, shaping who I am and instilling in me a passion that I want to share with others. This studio would not just be a place to learn dance but a hub for mentorship, empowerment, and the creation of a strong sisterhood among young girls.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
