Hip hop dance is where it’s at! I’m no professional, however growing up I was able to mimic the dances in videos. I remember whenever a new dance song came out, me and my cousins would get together and choreograph a routine, like we had a performance! The inspiration to dance came from the greats like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Omarion, Chris Brown and of course the beautiful Ciara! The inspiration also comes from being able to express myself through dance.
I can’t even begin to imagine how this opportunity would bless my life. It’s not all about the financial aspect. Dance brings joy to my soul. To be able to share that joy on a larger platform would be a dream. Imagine the impact that would have on others in my community. To let little girls and little boys know that they can do this if they try and apply, would be all the impact I hope for.
First 10% to God always! If he blesses me with the opportunity, I will honor him. Secondly I would put a portion of the money in my savings to go toward my graduate degree and another to clear up some debt.
