I try to stay open to all dance styles. As of now my main styles are hip hop, contemporary, & African. I have also dabbled into tap & ballet. My biggest inspiration with dance is & will always be Michael Jackson. He's the reason I got into dance & was finally able to communicate through movement.
Ive always talked about how much I want to pursue dance as a full time career, and this video can be the beginning of that dream/goal. This would be my first opportunity as a dancer & to have a chance to do it next to an infamous dancer/artist such as ciara; it wouldn't only be a dream come true but it would mean the start of my career & it would give me the experience I've been so eager to get a glimpse of.
First thing i'm doing with the $20,000 is giving it to my mom. Shes finishing school right now while also juggling her 5 kids (including our cat & dog) & I just want to give back because I know it's not easy. Theres no amount that could ever match how much I owe my mother for the life shes given me but $20,000 would definitely give her the help she needs to parent my siblings & I while also achieving her own goals.
