Music has always been a huge part of my life. I listen to everything from Aaliyah to ZZ Top and so much more. I grew up when movies like honey and step up were a popular troupe. Burlesque and Chicago really set my path and I found inspiration in performers like Dita Von Teese, Gypsy Rose Lee, and cirque du soleil. Ive always had a passion for art and history and that just lead me to learn about the world, Bollywood and belly dance being a huge influence in my dance style.
It would be a huge accomplishment in my dance career and be something that would feed my inner child. Ciara was one of my favorite artists as a kid and I always admired her individuality.
I really want my own venue. I have such a great community of musicians, performers, and artists that deserve to be showcased. It would mean the world to me to be able to give a stage they deserve.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
