Pop indie music has always inspired me to dance and be creative from my heart. I grew up in the suburbs with 2 fully black older sisters who were always being so mean inspired me to stay in my room listening to music choice where dancing like no one was watching became me way of finding confidence in my chaotic household. My mom always helped me find that spark by introducing me to music she played every genre and had so much passion while cooking cleaning and getting dressed, the energy was fun
I would just love the experience to dance in another one of her iconic songs! Ciara had always been my inspiration for confidence! Being 9 years old listening to ‘never ever’ after seeing my mom have so many failed boyfriends she’d get dressed doing her hair and makeup listening to Ciara and I watched my mom love herself thru all her pain using affirmative songs like Ciara’s!
I have a 18 month son and my mom has another 6 yr old daughter to take care of she’s also barely able to work from her spinal surgery so I would use the money to get a nice home for my family and help my mom life way less stressful she’s always done her best and I’d love to do my best and take advantage of this opportunity
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
