I’m a professional choreography and freestyle dancer, who’s always had a love for hiphop dance and culture! My inspiration has come from my teachers who motivated me to dive into other street styles like Litefeet, locking, popping, and jookin’. Seeing other people be dope makes me want to be dope too, so I value versatility and the grind! I grew up at a ballet school and have always loved contemporary which is still heavily rooted in my dance and professionalism today!
This would be the biggest breakthrough as an aspiring artist. It would truly be a dream come true and hopefully inspire others, showing hard work and dedication pays off. The opportunity to learn from Ciara, her choreographer, and work next to professional dancers would be an eye opening experience. The growth, and knowledge gained just in rehearsals alone would jump my career ahead and prepare me for future industry jobs. It would be motivation to never give up at what you love!
I would invest the money in my dance career; I have always wanted to dance on tour and would utilize the winnings to get my visa to work in the states. The financial aid would allow me to take time off and travel outside of Canada to train. I have been eager to work more closely with choreographers in LA and would not hesitate to go and do a training programs like “the room” or “the Galen Hooks method”, or go learn from OGs in New York!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
