My dance style has an old and new school flare with energy times ONE HUNDRED! I've been technically trained in high school and college. Debbie Allen, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, Alvin Ailey, Fatima Robinson, and of course Ciara are my inspirations. My Mom who passed away in 2023 motivated me to share my gift to the world!
Listen. I used to teach myself choreography from music videos before the tik tok trends! I fell in love with Ciara's music videos because she always gave it her all. Being in Ciara's music video will give me a sense of confidence knowing that a plus size dancer like me CAN make it and be seen!
Winning $20,000 will allow me and my husband to finally go on our honeymoon. Before my Mom passed, I was her caregiver. When my husband and I got married, we didn't want to travel too far because we were taking care of her part time. I would use some of the $20,000 on our honeymoon and pay on student loans accumulated from graduate school.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
