My love of all dance styles started in the womb. Inspired by my mom, the thrill of Brazilian Samba ran thru my veins. Age 1, I stood dancing in her Samba rehearsal with everyone. Seeing my mom performing on stages, parades and I dreamt of being a dancer. Age 2, I ran up on every stage and begged my mom for dance classes. Since age 4 up, I'm Grand National Dance Champion Solo/Team jazz Funk, hiphop, contemporary, crump, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, samba, salsa, Live TV awards, Music Videos.
Dancing in Ciara's video will bring Joy to Ciara by creating her vision, and everyone watching this video. My future will come alive. I will feel restored from a tragedy. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I will re-join my dance community and we will rejoice!
I fled for my life on January 7th in Palisades fire and we are unhoused. Your generous award will help my single mom and I and our 2 cats get back on our feet. Also, this will be my college scholarship for a Dance BFA and dance program now. Please help me move forward from my devastating senior year at Pali high to a brighter dance future.
