As the eldest I didnt got the opportunity to pursue a specific dance style or dance lessons, even though I always dreamt of it. The ability to translate the message, tone, energy, vibe, etc, of music has allowed me to incorporate different styles when I dance. No matter the genre I use movement to express. For inspiration I grew up dancing to Riri, Beyonce, Ciara PC Dolls, Chris Brown, Usher. Shake it Up was my fav Disney show, I used to binge World of Dance
It would answer the question I've had since I was 11 years old; Will I ever/ how will I ever get to share my love for the art of dance with the world. It would bring me the closest to opening the doors to the life I have desired. What i have stayed positive, confident and optimistic for. My passion becoming my reality. It would allow me to take care of my family in ways I have only imagined, and then from there my community . ALSO meeting the (dance) ICON Ciara herself ... what an honour!
I didnt know the voting would be through payments , i will definitely be giving back to my friends and family that supported me. From there My student loans , supporting my moms beauty supply store. I would love to book a flight back home to visit my family. The rest I will use to invest in myself for the near future
