My dance style is jazz and contemporary while maintaining a strong foundation from my ballet training. I enjoy doing all styles to maintain flexible and open minded to new challenges. One of my biggest inspiration is my teammates and teachers. I try and find people who I really enjoy watching to dance and try to dance in that style but in my own way with my strengths. It helps me be adaptive and quick to learn something new.
Being in her music video would forever change my life. For all the times I’ve been knocked down and got back up it would give me this sense of my hard work has paid off. It’s one of my biggest dreams to make it into the dance industry and being in the music video would blow my mind and I would start in the right direction of achieving my dream.
If I had 20,000 dollars there would be 2 things I would spend it on. Most importantly to help my family pay off my dad’s hospital bills of his recent open heart surgery. Then I would put whatever’s left towards my summer training where I enjoy meeting new people and teachers while getting a extraordinary dance training.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
