My main styles of dance are breaking (break dance) and Choreography. Along with many versatile hip hop styles. From popping, waving, animation, and funk. My biggest inspiration came from ABDC. Watching Jabbawockeez and SuperCr3w inspired me in the biggest way possible. I was always playing sports growing up but didn't pick up dance till I was 18. That's when I found my calling for the next 10 years.
It would give not just my dance crew inspiration. But my entire community to follow your goals/dreams. I come from a town in WA state that never had this growing up. No dance studios in the area to teach real hip hop or educate the public. We had to work on networking outside our town for years to achieve the movement we've started. I want to give kids growing up a positive outlet and opportunities I wish I had starting out.
I would pay off immediate debt to finish school on time. Invest in my annual dance competition I host once a year in my hometown. Give back to all the competitors. But above all finally take the necessary steps of finally owning our own dance studio. So we can finally spread our love and knowledge to this culture. In hopes that the next generation can continue to have positive outlets in life, and share in our love for dance just like I do.
