I do a lot of hip hop. I love to get crunk and pop and lock. I have a background in African dance too. I love the high energy of it as well as the drums. I do like Afro beat as well. Finally, I do find joy in contemporary. I love how smooth and expressive it can be. I love how I really interpret the feeling and words of the music.
I grew up listening and dancing to Ciara. I remember when my cousins and I had her dance tutorial for her get up music video. I think Ciara is an amazing dancer and artist. It is a dream to share a creative space with her. As an artist myself, I think I could learn a lot from Ciara. I want to be come a well rounded artist, not just in music but also performance as well. Dancing with her would be a great way for me to reach a new level in my artistry
I would buy land to start a community garden. Food insecurity and reconnecting with Mother Nature are 2 things I am very passionate about. There is no reason anyone should be going hungry when we have the knowledge and resources to grow our own food. We are in dire need of 3rd places where people can connect freely with each other. Building a community where we know where our food is coming from therefore healing ourselves as well as the land around us is a goal of mine.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
