My dance style is very versatile because I started dancing at age 2. I’ve been training in all styles of dance since the age of 6.At 14, I draw inspiration from many places like: emotions I feel from different music, the passion of other dancers, or everyday moments that spark creativity. Ballet has taught me grace and discipline, jazz helped me explore bold expression, contemporary allows me to tell stories through movement, and hip-hop brings out my energy and rhythm. It would be a dream come true and a huge milestone in my dance journey. It would give me the opportunity to work with an artist I’ve admired for her talent, creativity, passion and energy. It would push me to grow as a performer, gaining experience on a professional set and learning from some of the best in the industry. It would inspire me to continue pursuing my goals, showing me that hard work and passion can lead to incredible opportunities.
I would use it to invest in my dance education and career, which has always been my greatest passion. This would allow me to take advanced classes, attend workshops with industry professionals, and compete at a higher level, which would help me grow as a dancer. This past year has been especially hard since I lost my papa, who was my number one fan and never missed a single dance competition or performance. He always believed in my dreams and encouraged me to chase them.
