My dance style is a culmination of 27 years of dance experience deriving from gymnastics, acrobatics, contemporary, and floor work. My dance focus is “contemporary floorwork” that has influences from modern, contemporary dance and breaking.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be one of my greatest accomplishments in dance. Being 30 years old and still dancing with the same passion and athleticism I had at 18 is already an accomplishment for me but winning an opportunity like this would further validate my passion. It would also be satisfying to prove to the people who always doubted my dancing career that I never needed their validation because I believed in myself.
I would be able to finally start a family and a business of my own. I dream of having kids and my own business so I can provide for them and have the life I always dreamed of but it’s been too hard financially in this economy. 20k would give me and my husband the financial security we need to start preparing to have a family.
