I love hip hop and jazz funk and always have since I was very young! Dancing allows my mind & heart to find a way to release all the emotions. To wake up everyday is a gift. To be able to move & dance is an even greater gift. You don't know how much so until your life or ability to dance is at risk due to illness. I'm thankful to be a cancer survivor. I want to show the world you can over come life's most difficult moments. Life can be hard & we are all survivors in some way. I want to continue to share my story through dance. I hope to inspire anyone going through something hard. A year ago I was faced with not making it, but I'm here, thriving & never gave up hope. I would give it to my parents to pay my medical bills. With the rest, I would donate it to children's cancer research or to help a cancer child's family in need. So little money is allocated to researching and treating childhood cancer! I am lucky I survived but I want to help more kids survive by finding a cure. We need better and safer treatments for kids so they have higher chances of surviving and they don't have so many lifelong complications.
