My dance style is a mixture of Ballroom Rumba, Popping and Latin Fusion. I love adding Hip Pop elements into my Bachata and Salsa. I like to take risks when I dance cause I’m not easily embarrassed. I know i’m not the cleanest or well rounded dancer but my moves always relay a message and catch peoples eyes.
I’ve ALWAYS my entire life thought I was never good enough. I still do. Getting this opportunity will not only remind myself but will also remind other little girls that grew up not having much, that we are worthy and can accomplish anything we set our minds to. This opportunity would make my life in dancing expand to new horizons. I would put down for a house. My entire life I grew up super poor and worried about another meal. My entire childhood we’ve been evicted or had to move every 6 months. I’ve been to 4 different elementary schools, 3 different middle school and 2 different high schools. All i’ve ever wanted was stability and place to call home.
