I perform several styles of dance Jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, contemporary jazz, musical theater. Ballet, jazz and hip hop are definitely my favorites because of the artistry I can portray when performing these styles. I like to be vulnerable with my audience. I have several people who inspire me with their dancing abilities. Misty Copeland, Ciara, Maddie Ziegler, missy elliot, and Michael Jackson. All of them are amazing and show true artistry through their movement.
Just dancing with Ciara and being in a music video would be a dream come true for me! To see myself dancing and performing with Ciara would be such a huge honor. It could change my life and allow me to continue my dreams of making my name a household staple in the dance community around the world. It would allow me to have a platform to give back to my community and show brown girls who dance around the world that we can do anything we set our minds to.
I would use the money I win to help my dance studio update their floors and get some newer updated equipment for my amazing dance teacher Shadow. She gives so much of her time and energy to all of us dancers, even outside of the studio she comes to support us for everything we do in life and I want to help her studio continue to be successful for years to come. I would also buy some dance wear and shoes and provide those to little girls and boys who can’t afford them so they can pursue dan
