I would describe my dance style to embody a “hip hop princess” vibe, combining street styles with a feminine flare. I believe that there is something so powerful about embracing the strength of femininity in hip hop! Women in hiphop, like Ciara herself, have been major inspirations for myself and my choreography, representing the true beauty that females bring to hip hop!
Being in Ciara’s music video would be an absolute dream come true — the chance to dance alongside one of my biggest inspirations and the hip-hop princess herself! It would also allow me to fulfill a deep personal passion: showing young girls who look like me that we are more than capable of achieving greatness in the dance world. It's something I wish I had seen growing up, and I hope to be that role model for young dancers now!
I would use the opportunity to pay off my educational debt, which would free me to invest more fully in my dance career. With this financial freedom, I would be able to better immerse myself in spaces and experiences that foster my growth, helping me reach my goals and fullest potential as an aspiring dancer.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
