My dance style is heavily influenced by Westcoast styles because I am an LA native; South Central LA was my first home. Growing up I witnessed Tommy the Clown and his dancers create a whole new culture for LA and that style/energy shows in the way I move. Also,growing up, my stepdad was Belizean so I’m heavily influenced by Caribbean cultures as well!
I’m a stay at home mom of two and i dedicate every single day to my kids (happily!). However, being apart of a Ciara music video would finally be something that I’m doing for MYSELF…something that I can be proud of! Ciara is one of my biggest inspirations; she taught me how to embody masculine and feminine dance styles. It would absolutely revive my confidence!
I’ve been married for 12 years and we have two lovely daughters. Chile, if I won $20,000 I would buy my family a new car and go on a road trip with them! I’ve never had enough money or credit for a new car so I would love to suprise my babies with that. We haven’t had a car for a few months now.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
