Dance is my life. It’s the way I process and perceive and understand the world around me, that is often confusing. It gives me a place to express the depths of my joy and gratitude and also despair. There is no emotion too great for the dance.
I could only imagine that it would be a once in a life time opportunity to learn from and connect with other remarkable and talented artists. That it would be an incredible opportunity to grow mentally, spiritually and physically. That I would learn so much, to bring back to the communities that support me.
I would dance! I mean that. I would pay rent, and get groceries and dance with those who need it most. Teach those who need it most. Create opportunities for expression and performance, for this around me who need it most. I would build a big creative table for all my friends to eat at.
