Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I originally danced because it made me feel good and I haven’t yet dropped that motivating feeling. I love love love contemporary and am in awe of hip-hop as well. I dabble in a little bit of everything. But I take inspiration from every dance icon who’s built up the dance world to what it is now. From the early 18-1900s to now.
I think it’d completely skyrocket my career in so many ways I’ve never dreamt of. I want to get into the industry whether that’s commercial work or through concert dance and getting to work with her, an ICON, would completely change my life forever. Like, how could one person ever get over that?
I’d use it to help my career, whether that’s being able to move to a city where I believe I can do great work or joining another fellowship to continue my growth in dance. I want to further myself in dance because it’s the one thing I know I can do that won’t just impact me but others within my community with the work I’ll be able to do (While also tithing and IRS taxes and what not).
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
