My dance style has its foundations in freestyle hip-hop and street styles. It has continued to evolve over the years as I have trained in many diverse styles however freestyle dance has always held a special importance to me. My biggest inspiration growing up was Michael Jackson. His performance quality, unique style, and ability to connect with audiences worldwide continue to motivate me to do more than just catch a step but to perform with emotion and create memorable experiences.
Being in Ciara's music video would catapult my growth and experience in the industry to heights I could only dream of. I feel as though winning this and having this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would not only positively impact my career but, more importantly, my self-esteem and confidence. It would set a precedent in my life, reassuring me that if I could do this, then I could do anything I set my mind, body, and soul to.
I would use the money to further invest in my dance career and growth. I would train and take classes all over the world, update my headshots, create high-quality visuals to pitch to artists for live shows, music videos, and tours, and venture into new avenues such as film and television.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
