My dance style confuses people because it blends breaking, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and Afro-Brazilian dance. Like my mixed-race identity, I used to feel not "enough" for any single style. But I've learned that being uncategorizable is my strength. I don't need to fit in a box – I make my own category. Each dance style that shaped me deserves respect, and together they create something unique. I'm not half of this or quarter of that. I'm 100% me, dynamic and ever-evolving.
Dancing in Ciara's video would be a dream come true - I've been her fan since childhood, spending countless hours with my best friends dancing to her music. It's more than just a personal win though. Coming from small towns in both Italy and Brazil, being in her video would show kids from places that aren't on most people's maps that their dreams are possible too. When you come from somewhere that people have never heard of, seeing someone like you make it big can change your whole perspective.
I want to create a dance company celebrating dancers from diverse backgrounds, highlighting each performer's unique strengths. My vision is to tour globally with shows and projects that demonstrate dance's power to unite us all. With proper funding, we could pay for rehearsals, compensate performers fairly, cover travel expenses, and hire local artists in each city we visit. This would create a true cultural exchange through movement, showing how dance transcends borders and brings people togeth
