My dance style is a mix of interpretive and choreography. I love to go with the flow and interpret the lyrics with movements. But I was trained at a young age to dance. Ballet, tap, jazz I have done it all. But I love allowing music to take me limbs wherever. I also love to make people happy with movements. When people see me dance that makes them move along as well.
So I have been a big fan of her work since a teen. Practicing all her moves from all her videos. Being in her video will not just open doors that I would have never thought I would step into. Also it will help me show other girls my size that it doesn't matter what size u are, if you love what you do people will recognize you anywhere. This opportunity will change my life tremendously.
The reason I signed up is because I love to dance. I love making people happy. If I was blessed to win. I would put the money first to bettering my life and my child's life. But also put it towards opening a dance clothing store for all my black owned designer friends to collaborate together. I was raised on "it takes a village". And I know many people in my profession that need a place to promote their business and I want to be that avenue.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
