I am bold & feminine w/ intricate musicality - my energy jumps off the stage! I bring various styles into my movement but am most passionate about vogue, jazz & hip hop. The Commercial Dance program @ Boston Conservatory has allowed me to work with & learn from some of my biggest inspirations like Anthony Burrell. Parris Goebel's choreo for Ciara's "Level Up" first piqued my interest in exploring my own choreo style & I've wanted to be a backup dancer ever since.
This would fulfill a lifelong dream for me! Since I was 8, I dedicated myself to pursuing dance & choreography. Dancing alongside Ciara & showcasing my passion for performance would be the ultimate combo of my style, passion, work ethic & determination. This once in a lifetime chance will hopefully launch my career where I can one day be successful enough to follow and honor Ciara's generosity by offering up & coming dancers a similar opportunity to bring their dreams to reality!
I would put aside a year's worth of living expenses so I can focus my time and energy on pursuing my professional dance and choreography goals after I graduate college. Also, I would start a scholarship fund at the local studio I grew up dancing at to empower and inspire dancers applying for college to believe in their dreams and pursue their passion through a degree in Fine Arts.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
