My dance style is heavily based on hip hop and I get a lot of my inspiration from movies such as You Got Served, Honey, and Step up. Copying those dance moves allowed me to teach myself how to dance. I am the only dancer in my family so I wasn’t introduced to dancing with any help or guidance.
I’ve always had doubts in my career in dancing. I’ve always been scared to expose myself because of judgement and me comparing myself to others. Being in this video will give me the confidence in continuing my passion and hopefully network with others so they can help improve my skills.
Being able to travel and build my dance career is my dream. I’ve always wanted to travel to Los Angeles and participate in dance classes to expose my talent. Obtaining skills from other dancers will help me mentor others that also struggle with their confidence in dancing and performing. I believe that everyone should have a chance to express their skills in their own way.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
