I’m inspired by Missy Elliott, Michael Jackson, and Africa’s CEO Dancers. My style blends Hip Hop, Konto, Azonto, Coupe Decale - which are techniques seen performed most frequently to Afrobeats and Francophone music. I also incorporate Amapiano and Pantsula. I proudly celebrate my Yoruba Nigerian culture through movement. Dance challenges me physically, mentally, and emotionally while pushing me to grow. It gives me the freedom to tell stories and inspire connection.
Being apart of Ciara’s music video would be a dream come true! Growing up inspired by her creativity and confidence, I dreamed of performing alongside her. This opportunity would elevate my dance career and allow me to showcase my passion for African culture on a global stage. It would open doors to more professional opportunities, expand my network, and inspire others to embrace their culture through dance. Learning from Ciara would push me to grow and reach new heights as a dancer.
If I were to win $20,000, I would first invest in establishing a nonprofit that raises awareness about cervical cancer prevention through community outreach, testing, and education. Next, I’d use part of the funds to grow my dance career, pursuing specialized training and creative projects. Lastly, I would donate to children’s dance programs, giving young dancers the resources and mentorship they need to explore movement and discover their passion.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
