My dance style is Vogue Femme both dramatic and soft, but I have a deep love of all types of dance. From house, hip hop, waacking all the way to contemporary and ballet, I draw inspiration from all things movement, fashion, and even cartoons. I’m able to see and replicate pretty much any style. It’s one of my greatest strengths and I pour every ounce of my heart and soul into what I do.
Being in Ciara’s video would impact my life by validating all of the effort I have poured into my LGBTQIA+ Community. Growing up with a lack of opportunities was difficult and ballroom can be very political, so even at your best you can be made to feel less. This would give me a dream opportunity to show the world the work that has been my whole life’s purpose.
I would use the 20K to invest in continuing my dream of finding a secure home for my community to learn and master the art form of Vogue Femme. It has always been my dream to own a studio that could focus on providing a space for those willing to come and learn how Vogue can empower you, especially when the world can do its best to make us feel powerless.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
