My favorite styles of dance are hip hop and contemporary. These styles coincide in ways unimaginable to create stories purely from my mind. Hip hop has taught me how to take risks and freely wild out. Contemporary, for me, is the softer side that shines brightly on my fluid and emotional side.
I have felt throughout my life a strong connection to Ciara’s style of dance and her dominance amongst men and women around her. It will open doors for more of the world to see the creativity and joy I promise to bring to the dance world like I have done for the past 21 years of my 23 years on this Earth. I aspire to build a strong foundation where children and adolescents can thrive with sound. My dream is to open a dance studio with the power to bring the world together.
I will use the $20,000 to invest in my career. I will make sure any medical expenses for my little brother are paid in full, then focus on creating my dream studio.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
