My dance style is all-encompassing. I pull from my favorite artists like Ciara and studied how they've translated and composed their choreography to the beat of the music. I pull from my favorite dance movies Step Up and Step Up 2 to tweak my personal style and try out new movements. I pull from my day-to-day experiences to evict emotion that can't be quite expressed through words but can be perfectly executed through dance.
Ciara was a huge part of my upbringing. Every Saturday morning my parents would make the family clean the whole house, taking turns on whose music got to be played. The most "fun" days were when my older sisters would start playing the "Goodies" album. Listening to Ciara's lyrics and watching her music videos shaped my perspective on life. Being in a Ciara music video would give me the opportunity to travel back in time to relive my childhood & give thanks to my family
$20k would go towards school tuition and helping my family in any way I could. They've helped me through undergrad and now through law school, so after putting some towards tuition money, I would use the $20k to pay back my family for what they've provided me with in terms of money, life experiencs, and love.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
